#tbt. I normally don’t do this but I couldn’t find any other Thursdays to share this powerful image. This was taken sometimes back in August 2001, days before when the tragic events occurred. I remember woken up by my mother around 6 am that day and I didn’t go to school because I wasn’t feeling well. My mother made me breakfast and I quickly finish it to play “WWF No Mercy” on Nintendo 64. As I turn the television on, there I was struck by witnessing the World Trade Center. I’ve changed the channels to be sure it wasn’t some type of movie that was on air but all the channels were tuned in the news. I quickly yelled out MOM and she ran towards me and saw the television. She started to tear up when she called her sister who lives in NYC at that time. Thank god none of our families was hurt but that doesn’t stop me to think about many others that were hurt by this. Thank you @haekaladzani for this photo. It gives me the chills just to look at it. #neverforgotten. #13yearslater.#Visorhatswerecoolbackthen.
